Run of River Committee

Appointed by Skowhegan’s Board of Selectmen, the Run of River Committee comprises community and business leaders, recreation aficionados, municipal officials, and citizens.

In preparation for Run of River, the committee has helped coordinate downtown enhancement projects including fa├žade and parking lot improvements, sewer/water upgrades, sidewalk and streetlight updates, and construction of the Debe Park River Walk and the Renaissance Center, which includes public restrooms. Total investment exceeds $10.8 million.
