On the River Bank Ale

What does beer, a river and a bank have in common? Community.

Skowhegan Savings and Bigelow Brewing launch beer collaboration to raise funds for the Skowhegan River Park.

Bigelow Brewing’s newest libation ‘On the River Bank Ale’ is soon to be coming to stores and local eateries near you and every time you purchase it, Skowhegan Savings will donate to the Skowhegan River Park, Maine's first whitewater park to be built at the Kennebec River Gorge in Skowhegan.

About the Skowhegan River Park

The Skowhegan River Park is a proposed whitewater park and expanded trail network that will be located in and around the Kennebec River Gorge in downtown Skowhegan. The project looks to capitalize on the region’s natural resources to promote year-round recreation for paddling, hiking, biking, fishing and more while highlighting the Kennebec Valley as a tourism destination and encouraging economic growth in the region.
